Privacy Notice
What's stored
Student, guardian, and staff records (names, contact details, enrollment and academic history), attendance, marks and report cards, fee and payment records, and system activity logs. Each school's data is scoped to that school — staff and administrators only see records for schools they're authorized to access.
Sensitive data
National ID and birth certificate numbers are encrypted at rest — not just access-controlled, but unreadable even from a raw database file without the system's own encryption key. Uploaded photos are served only to staff authorized for that school's records, never through a public, unauthenticated link.
Session security
Passwords are never stored in plain text. New accounts and password resets require the person to set their own password on next login. Login attempts are rate-limited, and an account's active session ends immediately if it's deactivated or its organization is suspended — not just at next login.
